NETHERLANDS: STUDENT VISA
NETHERLANDS: OUR MISSION
The educational landscape of the Netherlands stands out as one of the most advanced systems globally. Alongside this distinction, the country boasts an array of prestigious universities and private schools that have garnered international acclaim.
Shifting gears from the realm of French immigration law, it’s widely acknowledged for its intricacy, consistently evolving with rigorous standards tailored to students from various origins. In this active scenario, seeking guidance from a reputable agency emerges as the most dependable route to ensure a successful application right from the outset.
Successfully manoeuvring through the process of applying for something depends on various important factors: the nature of your chosen course, whether it’s a full-time commitment or a part-time pursuit, and the specific study destination you have in mind. Demonstrating a proficient level of French proficiency and obtaining parental or guardian consent could also play a pivotal role.
Our dedicated team of immigration experts is poised to furnish you with tailored guidance suited to your individual circumstances. We stand ready to illuminate the pathway ahead, outlining the requisite documentation and assisting you in assembling an application that not only aligns with all eligibility prerequisites but also fulfills the criteria comprehensively. Should you decide to embark on this journey, know that we are here to support you every step of the way.
Inimex’s (and VIP Serveis) Netherlands office will be happy to answer any concerns you may have on the topic of the Dutch student visa by phone, WhatsApp or Viber +33-768-152-300 or + 33 621 662 009 or Skype (Linimex).
NETHERLANDS: REQUIREMENTS
If you plan to study in the Netherlands, you may require to obtain a Dutch visa or permit depending on your nationality and country of residence. Different application procedures apply based on the subject and diploma you wish to pursue, and the length of the stay that is necessary to complete your studies in the Netherlands. This applies to any student wishing to study in a university. Certain conditions must be met:
-
- Have a valid passport or other travel document;
- Not pose a danger to public order or national security;
- Have proof of registration or temporary proof of registration as a student at a university or institute of higher professional education (in Dutch: hoger beroepsonderwijs or HBO);
- Your study programme is accredited: this means that it has been recognised by Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders or NVAO (in the Netherlands) or the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education or EQAR (Europe);
- Your educational institution is a recognised sponsor with the IND;
- You will enrol on a full-time study programme;
- The study norm equals the amount Dutch students receive in study benefit when they are living in a dorm. The amount does not include school or college fees. The amount changes every year on 1 January. Each study year you will have to show your income. Your educational institution will ask you to prove your income. You should have sufficient money to live and study in the Netherlands for 12 months;
- Every year you make enough progress in your studies. This means that you obtain at least 50% of the credits for each study year.
